Veronica Arevalo Allende.. Let’s keep just Veronica ;)
I’m Chilean fro Valparaiso, and after years of traveling the world, Croatia became the place I chose to call home. With over 20 years behind the lens, my journey in photography has been shaped by the pursuit of fleeting, honest moments. Along the way, I’ve learned from extraordinary “moment hunters” such as Pedro Cabrera in Spain and the celebrated Two Mann Studios in Canada, and I’ve had the honor of being recognized by the Fearless Photographers awards.
I thrive in collaboration, bringing dedication and sensitivity to every project. Curiosity keeps me moving forward and constantly learning, observing, and exploring new visual territories. I’ve had the privilege of learning from inspiring international professionals such as Double Space, Simon Devitt, and visionary architects like RCR Arquitectes, whose commitment to craft deeply informs my perspective.
I am drawn to projects where imagery helps shape identity and narrative. I believe there is meaningful beauty in everything, it is just waiting quietly to be seen.
Since 2017, I’ve had the pleasure of documenting the work of Dubravka Lošić. On the island of Lopud, I’ve captured artists at the Lopud Art Foundation founded by Lucien Rees-Roberts, photographing creators such as Dana Budisavljević, Cynthia Zarin, and Kadri Koop, among others. I’ve also worked with the Lopud Ponta Film & Jazz Festival, collaborating with remarkable musicians including Antonio Sánchez, Michael League, Ben Wendel, Joe Sanders, and Sofía Rei.
As a lifestyle photographer, I’ve collaborated with Monastery Lopud 1483, as well as authentic properties, boutique hotels, vineyards, and restaurants of distinction, crafting imagery that reflects atmosphere, texture, and identity.
I remain open to new projects in architecture, art, and visual storytelling. Wherever creativity leads and new narratives take form.
